$300,000 Settlement for Fall at Football Facility

Blume Donnelly partner Mitchell Makowicz represented a woman in her late thirties who fell at a youth football facility in Little Falls over improperly installed concrete pavers. Our client shattered her elbow, resulting in the need for surgical intervention for excision of part of her humerus, and eventual elbow replacement surgery. The injury affected her ability to work with handicapped children as an educational aide, and prevented her from continuing her part-time work in a retail job. The case, venued in Passaic County, settled for $300,000.
