In June, the firm settled the case of a carpenter from Elizabeth, NJ who was injured when he fell from a stepladder. The General Contractor for whom Imbornone was working, failed to follow OSHA standards for providing a scaffold at the job site. As a result of the contractor’s negligence, Imbornone fell eight feet off a step ladder, hitting his head. He suffers from a loss of balance, and partial losses of hearing and smell.
