$175,000 Recovery for Fall at Restaurant

A 35-year-old man with a prior low back injury took his daughter to the bathroom at a restaurant and slipped and fell on wet tile in bathroom. Investigation revealed that the toilet had previously overflowed. However, clean up was inadequate and no warning were given regarding the slippery floor conditions. The man aggravated a low back injury for which he had prior surgery. Additional surgery was required because of the fall to repair the lumbar disc that was re-injured. Blume Goldfaden attorney, Jeffrey Zenna, represented the plaintiff.
