$300,000 Settlement for Fall-Down Accident

John Molinari represented a 65-year-old woman who was walking the defendant’s dog when the dog pulled her to the ground. She sustained serious injuries, including a left ankle fracture requiring two surgeries. In order to prove liability, John Molinari had to establish through deposition testimony that the dog owner knew of the dog’s dangerous propensity to run on the leash and failed to disclose that information to the plaintiff. The case settled prior to Arbitration for $300,000.
