Mitch Makowicz to Provide Overview of Medical Malpractice Law in New Jersey

Sewell, NJ – Blume Forte partner Mitchell J. Makowicz, Jr. is set to be a featured speaker on practical considerations of medical malpractice law in New Jersey at an all-day continuing legal education (CLE) program on April 22, 2017 sponsored by the Gloucester County Legal Education Association.

The session will cover a range of topics, including IRS tax controversy matters, improving memory, strengthening client relations, and a study of constitutional dimensions raised by the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp – 15 Years Later. Makowicz is scheduled to present on Medical Malpractice Law in New Jersey during the morning session.

A frequent lecturer on medical malpractice, Makowicz has secured recoveries for clients in medical malpractice claims ranging from improperly performed plastic, orthopedic and bariatric surgery to negligence on the part of family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology and gastroenterology practitioners, to name a but a few. He also has been successful in verdicts and settlements in the fields of dentistry and chiropractic medicine. He also handles cases involving product liability, premises liability and other types of personal injury.

Makowicz is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, a member of the Morris County and New Jersey State Bar Associations, and a member of the American Association for Justice. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University (B.A. magna cum laude, 1983) and Seton Hall University Law School (J.D. cum laude, 1986).
