$312,000 Settlement for Infant Burned by Exposed Heating Pipe

John Molinari represented an infant and his family. At the time of the accident, the little boy was age two and sustained severe burns to his left arm from an exposed heating pipe in the apartment where they were tenants in Union City, New Jersey. The defense contended that the parents were contributorily negligent, and that the existing building code did not require that the pipe get covered. John was able to settle this claim for $312,000.
