$495,000 Settlement for Osteomyelitis

Following hernia surgery, a 73-year-old woman developed a Staph infection. Unfortunately, the infection was not treated with the proper amount of antibiotics. Similarly, the antibiotics were not given for a sufficient period of time. As a result, the infection progressed, causing sepsis and then osteomyelitis to the spine, leaving the woman partially paralyzed. The client lived for another 8 months, before passing away from an unrelated condition. Blume Donnelly Associate, Jeff Zenna, obtained a $495,000 recovery on behalf of the victim’s family.
