Fire Hazard Leads to Recall of Champion Power Equipment Portable Generators

Champion Power Equipment, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is recalling approximately 8,600 portable generators due to a fire hazard. The defective generators were sold exclusively at Costco stores across the nation. The CPSC has received 11 reports of fuel leaking from the portable generators, including eight reports of the generators catching fire.
