If you are injured in any type of traffic accident, it is important to seek medical attention right away. Many individuals leave the scene of a collision feeling fine, only to experience pain days after the accident. Whiplash injuries and sprains which may be indicative of more serious underlying injuries may take time to surface.

Bus companies, both public and private, must abide by strict Federal safety standards in the operation and maintenance of their vehicles. It is the duty of the bus company to transport their passengers safely to their respective destinations. A bus company, or, if public buses are involved, the controlling public entity, can be held liable for an accident, injuries or fatalities caused as a result of negligence on the part of the bus driver or those who maintain the buses.
