Blume Forte Attorneys at Law is proud to announce that Norberto A. Garcia has been inducted as President Elect of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA). He was sworn in on May 15, 2025 and will serve a one year term.
About the NJSBA and Mr. Garcia’s Role as President Elect
For over 100 years, the NJSBA has been the state’s largest organization of attorneys, judges, and legal professionals. As the voice of the state’s legal community, the NJSBA’s mission is to improve the lives of members and advance the rule of law through supporting pro bono activities, providing educational resources, promoting access to justice, advancing fairness within the legal system, and more. In his role as President Elect, Norberto will express “the policy of the Association.”

Norberto A. Garcia: A Fierce Advocate for Justice
Norberto’s induction as President Elect of the NJSBA continues his long history of distinguished service and leadership. Prior to his induction, he served as President of the Hudson County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Foundation, and North Hudson Lawyers Club. He also served as First Vice President of the NJSBA.
From 2013 to 2024, he has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in the field of personal injury. He is a dedicated advocate for those who have been injured by car accidents, truck accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice, and slips and falls. He previously served on the Supreme Court Committee on Minority Affairs, which provides advice to the New Jersey Supreme Court on how they can ensure fairness, equal access and impartiality to the courts, in addition to monitoring legislation that may impact minorities in the state. Norberto is also a past member of the State of New Jersey Bar Examination Committee on Character, where he reviews applications from prospective lawyers. He currently chairs the New Jersey Lawyers Fund for Client Protection, a committee that reimburses clients who are victims of dishonest conduct by attorneys.
From earning his law degree from University of Pennsylvania Law School to now, as partner with Blume Forte Attorneys at Law, Norberto has demonstrated his commitment to the law and to those he represents.
