National Down Syndrome Congress Annual Convention Welcomed New Jersey Participants

The 39th Annual National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) Convention was held August 5-7, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. Thousands of individuals from throughout the United States attended the convention to learn more about the latest information and research on Down Syndrome.

One person attending the conference described it as inspiring and exhilarating. It was noted that a lot of families attended and took advantage of the opportunity to meet new people, make new connections and acquire helpful resources. The conference provided informative sessions, one of which addressed pregnancy and Down Syndrome. Another session related to the creation of biobank samples for use in future research on donated placental material and cord blood .

At Blume Forte, our New Jersey Down Syndrome lawyers understand how important proper prenatal screening is for parents planning for the future of their family.
