Norberto Garcia joined Blume Goldfaden in 1995 and became a Partner
in 2006. He has handled and resolved over 1,000 personal
injury lawsuits, and has obtained numerous six figure verdicts
at trial. Norberto became a Certified Civil Trial Attorney
in 2001.
Norberto graduated (cum laude) in 1990 with his Bachelor’s
Degree in History from Seton Hall University. He graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D.) in 1993.
He is a trustee of the Hudson County Bar Association, Past President
of the North Hudson Lawyers Club (2003), Past Vice President of
the Hudson County Young Lawyers Association (1999) and Co-Chairperson
of the Hudson County Civil Practice Committee (2003 to present).
In
2005 Norberto was appointed to the Supreme Court Committee on
Minority Affairs where he monitors legislation for its potential
impact on minority citizens and communities. He was named
to the Hudson County Fee Arbitration Committee in 2004, where
he adjudicates fee disputes between law firms and their clients.
He is active in the Hudson County Inns of Court as a Barrister
(2000 to present), where he lectures on civil practice, the Rules
of the Court, and evidence.
Mr.
Garcia is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (2004
to present). He has served as a court appointed arbitrator in
the NJ State Mandatory Arbitration program since 2000.
Norberto
was born in Camaguey, Cuba, was raised in Hudson County, New Jersey,
and works out of Blume Goldfaden's Hudson County offices.
