Robin Donato joined Blume Goldfaden in April 2001. She is an experienced attorney with a diverse professional background. Following her graduation from Boston University School of Law in 1991, Robin was appointed as an officer in the United States Air Force, Judge Advocate General's Department. As an Air Force attorney for over eleven years, Robin gained extensive litigation experience as a military prosecutor and Special Assistant United States Attorney. With the advent of her family, Robin set aside her passion for advising commanders and training for chemical warfare in order to put down roots. After a brief stint with a prominent defense firm, she found her true calling as a plaintiff's attorney at Blume Goldfaden. She specializes in the areas of products liability, railroad and construction accidents, and professional malpractice. On one of her first cases at Blume Goldfaden, she assisted in obtaining a recovery of 1.85 million dollar for a man who was electrocuted on top of a railroad car. Not long thereafter, she worked with a team of attorneys to obtain a 25 million dollar recovery for a man rendered paraplegic as a result of his involvement in a boating accident. She has helped many children receive compensation for injuries caused by the negligence of others and, as a former prosecutor, finds this area of her practice to be most rewarding. Robin graduated from Princeton University in 1988, where she majored in Economics and minored in Politics. She remains active on Princeton's Alumni Schools Committee, in which capacity she enjoys interviewing prospective students and making recommendations to the Admissions Office. She is admitted to practice both in New Jersey and New York.
