Makowicz, Jr., represented a client who was a contract customer of a municipal parking facility. Due to wear and tear, the stairs in the facility had become worn near the step-edge at the top of one of the flights. Because of this dangerous condition, our client fell and sustained an ankle fracture requiring surgery (open reduction and internal fixation with plates and screws), as well as back and hand injuries. |
