Winter 2010 Blume Goldfaden principal Kenneth Berkowitz secured a settlement on behalf of his client, a 39 year old gentleman, who fell from the second to the first floor through a hole in the floor while on the premises of a commercial building. Mr. Berkowitz’ client sustained a fractured ankle (talar neck), which was first diagnosed 3 months after the fall. He had arthroscopic surgery and eventually required ankle fusion. He claims to have developed RSD. He continues to experience pain and walks with a limp. |
