Kennedy Medical Center, the emergency room physician and his family physician both failed to detect and treat the pressure of an epidural hematoma. Six hours later he was in a coma and permanently brain damaged. Blume Goldfaden principal John Blume represented evidence that there was no record of monitoring by the on-duty nurse. Neither Doctor ordered a CAT scan or neurological consultation until after the young man fell into the coma. He is now confined to a residential treatment center.
