Attorney - Carol L. Forte, Esq.
Settlement: $750,000.
Winter 2009

Carol Forte represented a 50 year old woman who was told she had uterine cancer, and a total hysterectomy was recommended. The pathology results on the uterine tissue obtained during the hysterectomy proved that the woman never had cancer. As a result of having her uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries removed, the woman suffered from premature menopause, and needed to take hormone replacement therapy.
