The worker was thrown approximately 18 feet to the ground, which caused a burst fracture of the L-1 vertebra in his back. After a laminectomy, bone graft, and internal fixation, he continues to suffer back pain. Blume, Goldfaden Principal Kenneth Berkowitz obtained a $667,000 settlement. |
