A carpenter employed by a sub-contractor at a Piscataway Construction site, fell from the second floor down an unguarded stairway opening. The accident occurred March 28, 1992 at the site where Canterbury Construction, Inc. is developing a garden apartment complex.

The 30 year old plaintiff suffered a concussion from the fall and continues to suffer from a loss of smell, partial loss of taste, and headaches. Blume Goldfaden principal Ken Berkowitz negotiated the case settlement of $500,000.
