Blume Goldfaden Partner, Jeffrey Zenna, settled a case for a 64 year old woman who, when crossing a street outside of the crosswalk, was struck by a motor vehicle making a turn. Our client was hospitalized for only 4 days, though she did sustain some rather significant injuries including: a head trauma with intracerebral hemorrhaging (not requiring surgery) causing cognitive and visual impairment, and the development of a clot in her leg requiring the surgical placement of a "filter" to prevent the occurrence of further serious conditions from the clot. Mr. Zenna settled this case for $500,000.
