Blume Goldfaden Partner Kenneth Elwood represented the estate of an unmarried woman with no children who was involved in a multi-vehicle Auto accident on Interstate Route 280 in New Jersey. A limousine on the east bound side of the highway, involved in an accident with a truck, lost control and careened across the highway median into the westbound lanes, disabling the woman’s vehicle in the middle lane of the interstate. Seconds later, as she was attempting to get her vehicle off the highway, she was struck by a tractor trailer proceeding westbound which ran over her vehicle, crushing it. The claim was brought on behalf of the Estate by her brother, and was settled after mediation.
